CorpInvoice — Privacy Policy

CorpInvoice lets shoppers add corporate invoice details to their order. This policy explains what data is processed and how it is protected.

Data we process (Protected Customer Data)

With the customer’s explicit action, CorpInvoice collects corporate invoice fields — company title, tax number (VKN/TCKN), and tax office — on the thank-you and order-status pages, and stores them as structured order metafields on the relevant order. The tax number is treated as sensitive personal data.

How we protect it

• Validated server-side (VKN/TCKN format + checksum); invalid values are never written.
• Stored on the order in Shopify; sensitive identifiers are not exposed to the storefront.
• Personal data is never written to application logs.
• Minimum scopes only (read/write orders); we do not request unrelated customer, store-owner, geolocation, or IP data.

GDPR / data requests

CorpInvoice implements Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact,shop/redact). Invoice data lives on the Shopify order and is handled per Shopify’s data-retention and redaction processes.

Data sharing

We do not sell data. An optional GİB e-invoice taxpayer lookup (when enabled) only checks taxpayer status; it is off unless configured.
